Lorraine G. Maloney, of East Greenwich, R.I., has been an artist for many years. She has always concentrated on watercolor but she has a deep appreciation and interest in glass blowing, silver and textiles. As Lorraine will quickly point out “the most important thing to me about being a member of the Providence Art Club is the ability to meet so many extremely talented and interesting people. It’s very humbling to see the true dedication to the arts by its members and staff.”East Greenwich, Rhode Island
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lorraine moved to Providence in 1978 where she met her husband Bill, a native New Englander. She and Bill have two children Christopher and Kathryn. Although she enjoys returning to Brooklyn to visit family she considers Rhode Island her home.
