Ruth Dugdale is a Providence artist who, for over thirty years, has maintained a studio on Thomas Street, and now works out of her home studio. Although the main body of her work is in oils, she enjoys the challenge of watercolor and has received awards in both media. Dugdale has traveled extensively in Europe and studied painting in Italy in the summer of 1975. She has exhibited widely in New England, and her work is included in many private collections.
