Artist’s Statement
Painting, teaching and writing are my way of showing appreciation for the gift of life.
Through painting and writing, I try to communicate my awareness of the beauty in this world.
Through teaching, I try to help others realize their talent and ability to share.
I am so grateful to have been born in an area of natural beauty and a heritage of religious freedom that contributed to the existence of our nation.
I know I will fall short in one lifetime of what I would like to attain, but the practice of painting, writing and teaching is in itself rewarding.
I am warmed by the friendship of fellow artists and by the reception of my work.
