The Providence Art Club is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Fidelity Investments Green Works Juried Art Exhibition featuring selected works constructed of renewable, repurposed or recycled materials.

Twenty-two works were chosen from among more than 270 entries. All artwork was reviewed and selected by exhibition jurors Diana Gaston, associate curator, Fidelity Investments; Jesse W. Smith, gallery director, 5 Traverse, Providence; and Professor Bruce Chao, glass department, Rhode Island School of Design.

More than $1,700 in cash prizes were awarded by community award jurors Ron Machtley, president of Bryant University; Kevin Uebelein, president of Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company; and Neil Steinberg, president of the Rhode Island Foundation. Sen. Jack Reed was the honorary chair for the exhibition.

In addition to three cash prizes, Fidelity purchased one work for its permanent collection. In Rhode Island, more than 600 original works by local artists are displayed throughout the firm’s Smithfield campus. Overall, Fidelity maintains a diverse collection of regional contemporary art that includes more than 13, 000 objects housed in 125 sites around the world.
