During the months of July and August, the Galleries of the Providence Art Club will host the Members’ Summer Show and Sale. This exhibition will showcase a wide variety of shapes, sizes and mediums, highlighting works that are ‘long and lean’ or ‘short and wide’ in size. The show will change throughout the summer months as artists replace sold works with new ones. Original works will be juried for awards by Andrew Raftery, associate professor and former department head of printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design. The Club’s new and established artist members will display paintings, prints, glass, sculpture, mixed media, photography and more.
