Opening Reception

Join the Providence Art Club for festive receptions celebrating the openings of three exciting new exhibitions.

On view in the Maxwell Mays Gallery, The Edge of Light will feature paintings and pastels by Mary Jane Begin, alongside paintings by Lorraine Hynes and Kelly McCullough.

In the Mary Castelnovo Gallery, photographs by Lenny Rumpler will be on view in his eponymously titled solo show.

On view in the Dodge House Gallery Del-Bourree Bach and Domine Vescera Ragosta will be featured in their two person show titled Right Minds Two.

Both exhibitions will be on view through Wednesday November 8.

Fall Members’ Exhibition 2017

Join the Providence Art Club for an exhibition featuring over 150 recent works by Exhibiting Artist Members. Works will be in all media and will share the diverse range of styles and techniques utilized by members of the Club. This exhibition will be judged for over $5,000 in prizes by Edith Tonelli, PhD, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA.

Gallery Hours in September return to our usual hours, weekdays 12-4pm, weekends 2-4pm. This exhibition will open with a reception and awards ceremony on Saturday, September 9 from 4-6pm. The exhibition will continue through September 29.

Fall Members’ Exhibition Opening & Awards Ceremony

Join the Providence Art Club for the festive opening reception and awards ceremony of our Fall Members’ Exhibition, featuring over $5,000 in prizes selected by our juror Edith Tonelli, PhD, the executive director of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. This opening will take place on Saturday, September 9 from 4-6pm. The exhibition will be on view September 5-29.

Big & Small Show

Join the Providence Art Club for a fun exhibition celebrating works in divergent sizes. Apprximately 100 Exhibiting Artist Members of the Club will share small works (pieces that are a maximum of 12″ x 12″), and large works (pieces that are a minimum of 30″ x 30″). Artworks will be in all media and will share the wide range of interests and skills of the Club’s membership.

This exhibition will be judged for three top awards by artist, educator, and curator Amy Beecher, MFA.
