Painting fills my time since retiring in 2015 after 35 years as an architect and non-profit housing developer. Landscapes from grand mountain expanses to seashore scenes have become my favorite subjects. And landscapes join my passions for travel, hiking, camping, and kayaking with my love of painting. I like to paint with oil in the field; then later in my studio or a class I enjoy working in pastels or watercolor with my reflections, sketch studies and photos.
